Privacy Policy
Cortex Brain Training does not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app works fully offline and everything you do stays on your device.
1. Information we collect
None. We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. You can use every feature of the app without creating an account or providing any details.
2. Data stored on your device
Your game progress, personal bests, streaks, and app settings (theme, accent colour, text size, language, haptics) are saved locally on your device only. We have no access to this data and it is never sent to us or to any server we operate — we do not operate any server.
3. No tracking, analytics, or ads
The app contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no social logins. We do not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking.
4. Documents you import (Speed Reader)
If you import a document (TXT, PDF, DOCX, or EPUB) to read in the Speed Reader, the file is read and processed entirely on your device. Its contents are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored by us.
5. Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or store your payment details. Those transactions are handled under Apple's and Google's own privacy policies.
6. Device backups
Your device's operating system may include the app's local data in your own standard backups (for example, iCloud Backup on iOS or Android's Auto Backup to your Google account). These backups are controlled entirely by you through your device and OS account settings; we have no access to them.
7. Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13 and collects no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Because the app collects no data, we expect changes to be rare.
